WESTFIELD, NJ — The 61-year-old man badly hurt in an accident on Central Avenue by Laurel Place the evening of Nov. 4 was struck by two cars, Westfield Police Chief David Wayman told The Alternative Press.

“As he was crossing, he was struck by a car traveling northbound and struck by a car going southbound,” said Wayman. The man was transported to Morristown Medical Center.

“He sustained non-life threatening injuries,” Wayman said.

The accident is currently under investigation. To read our original story about this accident, click here.
