Millburn Street Fair Set for Sunday Sept. 22

By ILINA GHOSH

September 17, 2013 at 6:57 AM

MILLBURN NJ – Next Sunday at Millburn Avenue and Spring Street, more than 150 vendors and artisans  will be setting up their stands for the Millburn Street Fair. The streets that are normally hectic with traffic will instead be the place for a free and fun-filled family day of food, music, entertainment, and shopping for unique gifts, clothes and jewelry.

The Millburn Street Fair will be taking place on Sept. 22 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. All are welcome and admission is free.  Millburn Avenue and Spring Street will be closed to vehicle traffic, and free parking is accessible in all municipal lots.

Intercontinental food from tacos to funnel cakes will be available as well as fun games such as inflatable rides, a petting zoo,  pony walks, clowns, jugglers, and of course live music.

Beginning at 11 a.m., DJ John will be playing music and facilitate a dance jam outside in Lot No. 5 next to Town Hall. WDHA-FM and WMTR-AM radio stations will give out prizes until supplies run out.

Flying Dogs of Jupiter Band, who have performed at multiple outdoor festivals across New Jersey, will also have a live show.

Millburn/Short Hills Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the event and have announced that Investors Bank is their Premier Sponsor. For further information on the event contact the Office of Street Fairs (908-654-1400) or Millburn Short-Hills Chamber of Commerce (973-379-1198).
