WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield mom Allison Levitt will launch the Union County branch of Mommybites, a social and education community that connects moms to experts and other moms, with an event at Kidville Westfield March 20 from 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.
Levitt will pair with local businesses regularly to create events for moms, beginning with this party featuring Abigail Thomas Photography with an informal lesson on taking great photos of your kids. ($20. To register, click here. )
“Mommybites was a wonderful resource for me when we lived in Brooklyn and it is something that I wish existed in our area when we moved to Westfield a little over a year ago,” said Levitt, a mother of two young children. When advice from books and magazines didn’t cut it for her, learning one-on-one with experts and other moms about such issues as potty training through Mommybites was a real help, she explained.
“You can go to a place where you’re not judged and you can learn things and hopefully meet some friends,” said Levitt.
Other upcoming events will take place throughout Union County, including one at Be Craftful in Fanwood. Find out more at http://mommybites.com/union-county-nj/.
