SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Mayor Matt Anesh and the Mayor’s Wellness Committee have announced their latest healthy initiative, called “Step It Up South Plainfield.” The initiative’s and goal is to increase awareness of the healthy benefits of walking.
“Step It Up South Plainfield” will run from June 1st through July 26th. Participants will use a pedometer to track number of steps they take weekly Starting June 10th, and on every Tuesday after that during the program, participants should email their weekly step total to MayorsWellness@SouthPlainfieldNJ.com . You may join the competition as an individual or as a team.

The Mayor's Wellness Committee consists of volunteers whose goals ares to promote healthier living in South Plainfield. The committee members are:
