BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ - Just when you thought that the outdoor theater productions presented by Trilogy Repertory Co. each summer were over, the thespians will return this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Aug. 21 to 23, with a production of Shakespeare's powerhouse historical drama, "Richard III."
The performances will be staged at 8 p.m. each evening at the outdoor amphitheater at Pleasant Valley Park off Valley Road in Basking Ridge.
Admission is free, although donations are appreciated. The Basking Ridge-based theater company will present the play, produced by Hank Barre and directed by Joe Penczak, in conjunction with the Westfield-based Troupe of Friends.
The same show will be staged the following week at 8 p.m. on Aug. 28, 29 and 30 at Mindowaskin Park in Westfield.
The play will last for two hours, and theater-goers are invited to bring lawn chairs.
