BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Yesterday evening, the Jersey Pilots hosted the Quakertown Blazers in the closing game of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League summer season.

Greg Kocinski's RBI single accounted for the only run in the Pilots' 9-1 loss at Snyder Avenue Field.

Pilots manager Ben Smookler said he was very pleased with this group. They had a tough start to the season when they lost five of their pitchers for various reasons, but they bounced back and focused on their strength in their offense. He said, once they sharpened up their pithing, this team will be one to watch out for.

This was the third season that the Pilots made Snyder Avenue Field their home base.
