NWS Issues Advisory, Summit Public Schools Closed

SUMMIT, NJ — The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Union County in effect through 6 p.m. on December 10.  Snow accumulation of two to four inches is expected, with visibility falling below one-half mile in brief bands of moderate to heavy snow.

Snow is predicted to develop during the morning hours, and icy and hazardous travel conditions could exist throughout the day.

All Summit Public Schools are closed closed for the day.
