SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. -- Above, The Village Diner and Cryan’s are open for business on Thanksgiving for those looking for an alternative to cooking today.
Cryan’s Beef and Ale House on 24 First St. will open at 7 p.m. today.
The restaurant will serve its regular menu of burgers, sandwiches and entrees, with meals ranging from $7.95 to $18.95.
The Village Diner on 1 Sloan St. is open until 3 p.m. and will be serving its normal eclectic menu which includes sandwiches, wraps, seafood and steak.
The prices of meals range from $4 to $17.95. The menu also includes a roast turkey entrée that comes with stuffing for $11.95.
Above Restaurant and Bar on 1 South Orange Ave. also is open on Thanksgiving during its usual hours and is staying open until midnight.
The restaurant will be featuring a special Thanksgiving menu that has a main course of roast turkey, served with stuffing and cranberry sauce.
The meal will also come with a choice of a starter, a pumpkin ricotta gnocchi pasta, a choice of a vegetable and a potato. The dessert menu that includes pie, gelato, cobbler and pudding.
The cost of the meal is $42 plus tax and gratuity.
