LIVINGSTON, NJ – Fresenius Medical Care, a new dialysis facility located at 348 East Northfield Road, is hosting an open house on Thursday, June 26 from 4 to 6 p.m.
According to the facility, there are more than 13,000 New Jersey residents currently living with kidney failure and relying on some form of dialysis. Fresenius intends to use the open house as an opportunity to educate attendees about kidney disease, risk factors, prevention, and treatment options, including nocturnal and home dialysis.
The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served and nurses and staff will be available to discuss patent services and the latest dialysis treatment options including in-center daytime dialysis, nighttime dialysis and home dialysis.
Guests will also be able to tour the new facility and see demonstrations of the latest dialysis technology and single-use dialyzers; treatment stations designed for patient comfort and convenience; and, reclining heated treatment chairs with massage features.
