Millburn Farmer's Market and Public Library Events This Week

MILLBURN, NJ – A quiet summer week in the Township finds the Farmer’s Market going strong and some interesting events at the Free Public Library:

Monday, August 11

10 a.m. – Project Healthy Bones at the Millburn Free Public Library: Project Healthy Bones is a 24-week exercise and education program for older men and women who have osteoporosis or are at risk of developing the condition. Exercises are designed to improve posture, balance, strength and flexibility.

6:45 p.m. – Millburn Scrabble Club at the Millburn Free Public Library: The Club meets every Monday beginning 6:45 PM except on those holidays when the Library is closed. If the Library is closed, the Club meets in the Cafe at Barnes & Noble on Rt. 22W in Springfield around 7:00 PM.  Players of all ages and skill levels are welcomed.  Fee is  $1.00 per player (waived for first visit). First time players receive a free 2 & 3 letter word list to use for the first few visits.

Tuesday, August 12

9 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Millburn Farmers’ Market at the corner of Essex Street and Main Street

Thursday, August 15

11 a.m. – Story and Craft for 3-5 year-olds at the Millburn Free Public Library: Children (3-5 yrs) and their caregiver are invited to the library to hear a story and make a craft. No Registration Required. Please Check in at the children's desk. Limit of 15.  Location: Meeting Room B
