Dave Haas has been attending coffees with Westfield residents to speak about their concerns and the direction they feel Westfield should be taking in the future. Recently, Dave met with local residents and discussed topics they felt were important. Topics included bolstering the Westfield fire department, the recently purchased command center, parking in and around town, bike lanes, shared services, the light on Central Ave. and the proposed one-seat NJ Transit ride to NYC.
The round table strongly agreed the entire town and region, regardless of political affiliation, should be working together to convince NJ Transit to grant the Raritan Valley Line one-stop rides during the rush hour for commuters.
