March Mayhem Returns to New Providence

By NEW PROVIDENCE EDUCATION FOUNDATION

March 1, 2014 at 6:41 AM

On March 19th  the New Providence Education Foundation will host its third annual March Mayhem, a fun filled evening featuring a fast paced basketball game played by New Providence teachers and faculty with student coaches and referees. This year we are teaming up with Gabrielle Fitness for the most competitive night ever.  This fun filled event offers contests, giveaways, and prizes for all ages!   The Mini Foul Shot Contest is open to students K-2nd grade, and the Knockout Contests are open to students in grades 3-6th and will be divided into age brackets.   The half time will feature a Pioneer Warrior Challenge with 5 teams of 6 competitors each in 7th-12th grade students. This will be run by Vince Gabrielle and his staff. Sign ups will be held that night upon  arrival and will close a few minutes before  the game. There will be a raffle to win a free month membership to Gabrielle Fitness.

March Mayhem will be held in the New Providence High School Gym. Tickets are $5 a person. All tickets sold at the door, and doors will open at 6:30pm. Concessions and New Providence spirit items will be available for purchase at the event.

The event raises funds for the New Providence Education Foundation whose mission is to generate and allocate resources that will enhance the educational experiences of students in the New Providence Public Schools.
