One woman decided she didn’t need to pay for her purchases at the new Target, located in King of Prussia. Instead, she thought another person’s credit card would be a much more ideal plan to purchase her goods.
According to the Lower Providence Police Department (LPPD), a card was recently stolen from a car, as an area resident enjoyed the use of the area’s trail system.
“LPPD is investigating a theft from a motor vehicle that occurred during the afternoon of Aug. 11 [Monday] in the parking lot of the Schuylkill River Trail located along Pawlings Road,” said the department’s Facebook post, requesting assistance from the township’s residents. “The suspect in the photographs stole a purse from the vehicle and used the victim's stolen credit card to make various fraudulent purchases at a store in King of Prussia.”
Photos were released of the suspect, seen here with the story. She used the card at the King of Prussia Target, and was caught on the store’s security cameras.
LPPD requests that anyone that has information or that can identify the woman in the photographs, to please contact the department.
“Please contact LPPD at 610-539-5901 if you can assist in identifying the suspect,” said the department’s page.
