WEST ORANGE, NJ - On Friday Jan. 24, Kearny Federal Savings on Main Street in West Orange donated several baskets of non-perishable food items, winter coats, and clothing to the Holy Trinity-West Orange Food Pantry.
The staff began to collect donations around the holidays, and account holders donated to the cause as well.
Food Pantry Administrator Cynthia Cumming picked up the food and clothing to bring back to the church. All the coats were given away to food pantry members as soon as Cumming returned to the food pantry.
"The food pantry is so appreciative of Kearny Federal's ongoing efforts to support us," noted Cumming. "This is a local bank with a real heart for its community."
A special thanks to Ivana Adamec, Kearney Federal Savings Marketing Assistant, who stopped by to support the effort.
