MAPLEWOOD, NJ – The southbound portion of Boyden Avenue from Elmwood Avenue to Springfield Avenue is temporarily closed due to ice on the road caused by a nearby water leak.

That section of Boyden Avenue will remain closed until the water company repairs the leak.

The township’s Public Works department is currently working on removing the ice from the road.  Use caution while driving.

The township has also opened public buildings as warming sites today. These include: the Town Hall, the Baker Street Library, the Hilton Library starting at noon, and the Community Center on Burnett Avenue.
