MORRISTOWN, NJ – On Friday, March 28, Homeless Solutions, Inc. held its 14thAnnual Dream Builders’ Bash at the Westin Governor Morris in Morristown and raised over $195,000 in support of Homeless Solutions shelter programs. Three hundred and fifteen attendees joined Dorothy, the Scarecrow and all the gang at the Wizard of Oz themed event for dinner, dancing, Silent and Live Auctions, a Wine Pull, and Jewelry Raffle by John Herold Jewelers of Randolph.
The Board of Homeless Solutions was proud to honor Helen and Grant Parr for their many years of philanthropic support, guidance and dedication to Homeless Solutions. In addition, volunteer Mary Kennon was recognized with the Mary Van Kirk Volunteer Spirit Award for her long time commitment and enthusiasm in support of Homeless Solutions and those they serve.
Homeless Solutions, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization that has been helping the homeless and working poor in the Morris County area since 1983. The goal of HSI shelter and transitional housing programs is to offer families and individuals the support they need to develop the skills to successfully return to independent living. The also develop permanent supportive, environmentally friendly housing for very low, low, and moderate income households.
