WESTFIELD, NJ — The scene was standing-room only at Blue Sky Café in Westfield Thursday morning, when about 40 members and prospective members of the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce gathered for the organization’s monthly open networking breakfast.
Blue Sky Café served complimentary egg-and-bacon casserole, French toast bake, cinnamon chip pancakes, crepes, coffee, freshly pressed juice and more for attendees to enjoy. Every participant had the opportunity to spend a few minutes sharing information about his or her business with the group.
“We feel very lucky to be able to host a networking breakfast with the chamber so soon after we opened in November,” said Jill Korcusko-Ramirez, who owns the restaurant with her husband Marcos Ramirez. “What a fabulous turnout.”
The chamber’s next free open networking breakfast will take place at Gallery U Boutique in Westfield on Tuesday, Jan. 7, from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. No RSVP is required.
