WESTFIELD, NJ — Eight Westfield High School students achieved perfect scores in January on sections of the SAT and in March on sections of the ACT standardized tests, which are widely used for college admission criteria.
Principal Peter Renwick congratulated Katherine Ko (ACT English); William Crenshaw (SAT Writing); Brian Johnson (SAT Math); Andrew Zale (ACT Science); Griffin Mooney (SAT and ACT Math), Albert Chen (SAT Reading and Writing); William Chen (SAT Writing); and Benjamin Howell (ACT English).
“It speaks volumes about your abilities and your commitment to education,” said Renwick.
Twenty-nine Westfield High School students have received perfect scores on sections of the ACT or SAT so far this 2013-2014 school year.
