MILLBURN, NJ - To wind up Autism Awareness Month, the Millburn High School Autism Awareness Club will host a presentation on Tuesday, April 29 at 7:30 pm by author and award winning and breakthrough advocate Kerry Magro, a public speaker with Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS), a form of autism, in the Millburn High School Library.
This event is open to the public. New Jersey native Kerry Magro is the author of "Defining Autism From the Heart: From Nonverbal to National Speaker", a best seller for special need parenting. Kerry is the CEO and founder of KFM Making a Difference, a non-profit organization that is focused on affordable housing for disabled individuals in New Jersey.
A recent graduate of Seton Hall University with a Master's degree in Strategic Communication, Kerry has served as a keynote speaker at over 350 events worldwide. Kerry has also worked as a consultant on several films including "Don't Foil My Plans", "Jane Wants a Boyfriend" and the 2012 Warner Brother's film "Joyful Noise".
