Summit YMCA Offers Dance Class for Special Needs Kids

The Summit YMCA offers a dancer program run by Dancers Pointe for students of all ages with cognitive and physical disabilities. The class is run by certified and trained specialists with a student-teacher ratio of 4:1. Children enjoy a 30 minute class, learning through creative movement designed to promote the development of gross and fine motor skills.
Class meets for 8 week sessions on Fridays from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm. A new session begins on Friday, March 2, registration is going on now. The fee per 8 week session, $80 for Y members; $120 for non-members. The Summit YMCA is located at 67 Maple Street.
