Response to Dorothy Burger's Letter Regarding Lance/Larsen Election

If Dorothy Burger is so tired of career politicians, why is she voting for Rep. Leonard Lance for Congress? Rep. Lance is a a 30 year career politician that has spent his whole adult life running for office at the taxpayer's expense.
Furthermore, Dorothy got it wrong when she said that Dave Larsen spent his money to run for Congress instead of paying his taxes. Dorothy confused the time frames to make Dave look like he didn't pay his taxes while running for congress to swing votes over to her candidate, Mr Lance. Dave Larsen paid all of his taxes in full years before he ever considered running for office.
Dave's first concern as a business owner and family man was for his employees with families that counted on him for a paycheck to support their families.
At a time when the construction industry came to a screeching halt and many people lost their homes, Dave choose to pay his employees instead of laying them off. At a considerable cost to himself, Dave made a deal with his town to extend the payment schedule of his taxes, with double digit interest payments, and Dave paid all his taxes off in full.
But interestingly enough, Dorothy Burger goes on to call Leonard Lance a man of "ethical integrity and fiscal responsibility," and that's just not true. In a recent article in the Hunterdon Review, "Larsen faces Lance in the 7th district" Lance's chief of staff, Todd Mitchel, admitted Rep. Lance lied by taking credit in a mailer to the 7th district, paid for with taxpayer dollars, for sponsoring two bills that check the authority of president Obama.
According to congress.gov Rep. Lance is not listed as a sponsor of the "The Faithful Execution of the Law Act" and The Enforcement of the Law Act as Lance's mailer claims. The "Enforce the Law Act" was sponsored by Rep. Trey Gowdy of South Carolina, and the " Faithful Execution of the Law Act" was sponsored by Rep. Ron DeSantis of Florida.
The hour is late, the time is now to reward Mr. Lance for taking credit for conservative legislation he had nothing to do with by throwing him out of office. If Dorothy Burger is really looking for a man of "ethical integrity and fiscal responsibility" she can change the "culture of corruption" in Washington D.C., by voting for a true, Ronald Regan conservative and businessman for congress, vote for David Larsen on June 3rd.
