NP Recreation Offers Spring Middle School Sports Programs

New Providence Recreation will offer two spring sports programs for middle school (7th and 8th grade) students who reside or go to school in New Providence. Both programs are co-ed, begin on May 27, run for three weeks, and will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Middle School Track will meet at the New Providence High School Track (Lieder Field) from 3-4PM. Participants will practice on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and complete among themselves in races, relays and selected field events on Thursdays. The program will be led by NP High School Track Coach Corey Arnold and other staff. The cost of the program is $50.
New Providence High School Tennis Coach David Goldstein and additional staff will lead Middle School Tennis at the NP Municipal Tennis Courts from 3:00-4:30PM. Players of all levels are welcome to this developmental program which will include instruction, drills, games and competitive strategies and play among participants. The cost is $75, and participants must provide their own racquet.
