MADISON, NJ - Due to the severe weather forecast and the fact that Gov. Christie has declared a state of emergency, all borough offices in Madison will be closed Thursday and all evening meetings and activities will be rescheduled.
The borough has postponed its normal Thursday garbage pickup for tomorrow because of the Winter Storm Warning, which goes into effect at midnight tonight.
Rescheduled garbage pickup in Madison will resume on Friday.
The impending snowstorm has also caused the borough to ban on-street parking both Wednesday night and Thursday night.
