SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit High School Choral Ensembles will host the first-ever Hilltopper Choral Festival April 3, starting at 6 p.m.
Five of the area's best high school choirs, including Columbia High School of South Orange / Maplewood, East Brunswick, Westfield, Newark Academy, and Morris Knolls -- along with the Summit High School (SHS) Concert Choir and Chamber Choir will perform.
To finish the evening, the Rutgers University Kirkpatrick Choir will perform. Three of the area's most accomplished choral musicians will be on hand to work with each choir, including Dr. Barbara Klemp from Chatham; Dr. David Fryling from Hofstra University; and Dr. Donald Dumpson of Westminster Choir College.
The event will be held in the SHS Auditorium, and all are welcome to attend. Admission is free, however donations will be gratefully accepted.
