BASKING RIDGE, NJ - The Farmstead Players will read The Tempest at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6 at Farmstead Arts Center, 450 King George Road in Basking Ridge. The reading is free and open to the public.
Considered one of William Shakespeare’s greatest works, the play is scheduled for a full production in late spring at Farmstead Arts. “The Farmstead Players will perform The Tempest in the recently renovated English Barn at the site,” says artistic director William Ward. The reading also will serve as an audition for the spring production. Please direct questions regarding The Tempest audition to William Ward at email@example.com.
The farmhouse is wheelchair accessible. To request additional accessibility services, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org at least three weeks in advance.
Funds for events are made possible in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts; and the State/County Partnership Local Arts Program Grant administered by The Somerset County Cultural & Heritage Commission.
