BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Cadets of the Berkeley Heights Volunteer Rescue Squad will be holding a food drive in order to raise awareness of hunger in the community and across the nation. In an effort to support the community all proceeds will be donated to the Little Flower Food Pantry. The Church of Little Flower is located on 110 Roosevelt Avenue in Berkeley Heights. The food drive will be collecting from October through the holidays.

Due to current shortage of certain food items we hope to fill the food pantry through the holidays.  You can help by donating: stews, protein bars, chili, juice, crackers, canned fruit, mac & cheese, cereal, beans, rice, canned fruit and vegetables, canned tuna, pasta, tomato sauce, peanut butter, non-perishable milk. These items are only suggestions; anything donated that is non-perishable will gladly be accepted.

The boxes for the food drive are located at: Berkeley Heights Volunteer Rescue Squad, Stop & Shop, Kings, A&P, EMO, Deena’s and Yogoccino.
